Mu christmas shopping is not done yet. And we're off to see relatives tomorrow, and then the day after that is, well, christmas. Uh oh. The only mitigation is that the missing gifts are to be distributed on boxing day and the twenty eight, so there may be a day or two of post-christmas grace.

But I don't feel very good about this mode of shopping. :)

I am normally quite disorganised when it comes to Christmas shopping... but this year I have been worse than ever! However, I have at last succeeded in getting all the urgent things sorted (i.e. those I need for or by tomorrow), by going into town at 7pm last night -- I just need one more thing for my sister now. Thank goodness for late night shopping!

I still have a heap of stuff I need to buy for people who I'll not being seeing till after Christmas though...

ha! I feel so smug because usually I do all my xmas
shopping on crhistmas eve, but instead I did it all
yesterday. The intese fear of running down Oxford
street with no ideas and hoards of people is not going
to be a part of my life this year.

I come back on the twenty seventh, land on the twenty eighth. Assuming no customs or luggage disasters with the antique floor lamp I intend to dismantle and bring, that is ...

Aaalmost all done, now

I went up to the road today, ran around efficiently, and got almost everything done now except the stuff I can only get downtown. I came back laden with bags (and a paperwhite plant) after less than an hour out, which was a satisfying and christmassy feeling.
